In the 30's 40's and 50's Scotsmen came down from Scotland to work in Stewarts and Lloyds Steel making plant at Corby, Northamptonshire, to make a new life for themselves.  Among them where the obvious football supporters, but none more so than those who supported, the Famous Glasgow Rangers.

These supporters got together and formed a Corby Rangers Supporters Club.  As with all things change happens and in 1959 a small group decided to try something different. This group of supporters held meetings in various venues throughout Corby, until having approached and received permission from the Corby Conservative Club, to use their facilities, held their first meeting in the Conservative Club on the 26th May 1963 under the name of the "Corby Loyal Rangers Supporters Club".  The Chairman of the day was Davie Gibb.

We are a small Club, having around 50 members of various age groups but we are a very proud Club and proud of what we stand for. New Members are always welcome.  Over the years the Club has gone from strength to strength under the leadership of our Chairmen.

We have an excellent social calendar.  Over the years the Club has been on weekends away with the families not only in the UK but abroad as well.  We've had dances, bbq's, umpah nights and visits to other Clubs and pubs in and around the country.  We are also very proud of our Annual Burns Supper, which has been going for 39 years. Individually and as groups our Members go to see the Famous Glasgow Rangers on a regular basis but the highlight of the year is our Clubs Annual trip.  This is when all the Members travel together and share a weekend together strengthening our already very strong friendship within the Club.

This is a very brief history of our Club to get us up and running on the web.  More to follow.
